The President awarded the Zmiyev rescuer Dmytro Golosnyak with the Order "For the Defense of Ukraine" 🇺🇦🚒

Recently, a solemn event was held in Kharkiv on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. During the ceremony, rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were honored, who showed courage, dedication and high professionalism in performing their duties under martial law. Among those awarded the Order of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine" is our fellow countryman, 36-year-old rescuer from Zmiiv Dmytro Golosnyak.

🧑‍🚒 He devoted 8 years to service in the 58th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Zmiiv. Dmytro is a native of Zmiiv, a graduate of Zmiiv Lyceum No. 1. Since his school years, he dreamed of becoming a rescuer and consciously chose a path that requires courage, endurance, and a sincere desire to help people.

During his service, Dmytro participated in numerous emergency operations — extinguishing large-scale fires in ecosystems, extinguishing fires after shelling, rescuing people from burning buildings. His dedication, selflessness, and high professionalism did not go unnoticed.

Dmytro Golosnyak was awarded the Order of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine" in accordance with the Presidential Decree of August 5, 2022. In one of his daily addresses, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to our fellow countryman, a courageous rescuer who stands guard over people's lives even in the most dangerous conditions of wartime.
