Soldier Andriy Mynk was awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree (posthumously). This was announced by his mother, Mrs. Zoya. The state honored the man who from the first days of the full-scale war stood up for the defense of Ukraine and gave the most precious thing for it - his life.
Andriy was born in Crimea, but grew up and studied in Zmiiv region - in the village of Birky. After school, he entered the Skovoroda Kharkiv University, and later worked for two decades at the BRIG plant in Dergachy. In 2011 - the happiest year for him, he met love and moved to Zmiiv, which became his home.
In the Zmiiv community, Andriy was known as an active, caring man who always sought to make the city better. He sincerely loved Ukrainian culture, our traditions, and valued his native land. Together with his wife, they helped abandoned animals. Love and support reigned in the family circle, and Andriy's greatest treasure was his family: his wife, mother, stepfather, and brother.
When the full-scale invasion began, Andriy without hesitation changed his civilian clothes to military uniform. He volunteered to join the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine in March 2022. First, he defended the Kharkiv region, and later held the defense in the Siversko-Soledar direction.

His memory lives on in the hearts of his family, brothers and sisters, and all those to whom he managed to do good. His path is a path of courage, love for Ukraine, and true humanity.
