IN MEMORY OF IGOR BONDARENKO
On June 4, the village of Taranivka said goodbye to the fallen defender, Igor Bondarenko.
The man was born on September 21, 1989 in Pervomaisk. He lived his entire life in the village of Bezpalivka.
Since 2015, Igor has been defending his native country. He participated in repelling armed Russian aggression in the East during the anti-terrorist operation. He served as a gunner in a tank platoon.
After demobilization, Igor worked at the MistBud company, where he built bridges.
After the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, he was among the first volunteers. In March 2022, Igor again joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On September 23, 2022, the man started a family. Already during the war, in 2023, he had a daughter, who is now only 8 months old. Igor saw her only twice in his life. The first time, when he picked up his wife from the maternity hospital, and the second time - the day before his death, when he came home for a day.
The very next day, May 27, soldier Igor Bondarenko, a machine gunner of the 2nd Rifle Detachment, 1st Rifle Platoon, 1st Rifle Company of the VC A7404, died near Lyptsy in the Kharkiv region while performing a combat mission.
34 will forever remain a hero...
Igor was accompanied on his last earthly journey by his family, loved ones, representatives of local authorities, fellow soldiers, friends, and fellow villagers.
