THE HEAVENLY ARMY OF UKRAINE HAS BEEN ADDED WITH ANOTHER HERO…

The Zmiiv City Council sadly announces the death of our compatriot, defender of Ukraine – Borodin Yevhen Anatolyevich. Yevhen was born on December 17, 1981 in the village of Krasna Polyana, Zmiiv district, Kharkiv region.

He studied at the Krasnopolyansk school, after graduating from which he entered the Kharkiv Technical School in 1997. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After demobilization, he returned to his native village, where in 2010 he started a family. In 2011, Yevgeny had a daughter, Maria. In 2014, Yevgeny Borodin joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. With the beginning of a full-scale war with the Russian aggressor, he decided to help people. With his own forces, he evacuated victims from the occupied territories of the Kharkiv region, delivered food and medicines. And on May 26, 2022, the man again put on a military uniform and stood up to defend Ukraine.

Senior soldier Borodin Yevgeny, senior rifleman-operator of the 3rd rifle division of the 2nd rifle platoon of the 1st rifle company of military unit A7401, died on May 7, 2023 as a result of enemy shelling near the village of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. Yevgeny is survived by his mother, sister, wife, and daughter.

The farewell ceremony for the fallen defender of Ukraine Yevhen Borodin will be held on May 9 at 12:00 in the center of the village of Krasna Polyana.
