He died near the settlement of Sumy, Sumy region.

On June 23, 2025, while performing a combat mission in the Sumy region, our compatriot, Oleksandr Ivanovych GADYUCHKO, a resident of the village of Taranivka, staff sergeant, rifleman of the 1st detachment of the 1st rifle platoon of the 1st rifle company of the 5th rifle battalion of military unit 3022 of the Eastern operational unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, died.

He will forever remain 53 years old...

Oleksandr Ivanovych was born on November 23, 1971 in the village of Taranivka. After studying at the Taranivka school, he obtained the specialty of an agronomist at the Lypkuvatov Agrarian College. He completed his military service, and later began his working career: he worked in a women's colony in Kharkiv, on the railway, at the Svitlo shakhtarya plant, and in recent years at the Faktor Druk printing house.

Since September 2022, he has stood up for the defense of Ukraine, performing his duty with dignity, defending our state from the enemy.

He was a loving husband, an attentive father to his two daughters, and a caring grandfather. A man who will always remain in the memory of his family, brothers, and fellow countrymen.

The farewell ceremony for the Hero will take place on June 27 at 1:00 PM in the village of Taranivka.

We express our sincere condolences to the family, loved ones, friends and brothers of Alexander Ivanovich. We are all with you in this moment of sorrow.

On June 27, a farewell ceremony was held in the village of Taranivka for the defender of Ukraine, Oleksandr Ivanovich Hadyuchko. The last earthly journey of the compatriot, who died while performing a combat mission in the Sumy region on June 23, 2025, was conducted.

Staff Sergeant, Rifleman of the 1st Detachment of the 1st Rifle Platoon of the 1st Rifle Company of the 5th Rifle Battalion of Military Unit 3022 of the Eastern Operational Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, heroically died defending Ukraine. He will forever be 53 years old.

Oleksandr Hadyuchko was born on November 23, 1971 in Taranivka. After completing his studies at a local school, he obtained a degree in agronomy at the Lypkuvativ Agrarian College. He completed his military service, and later worked in various fields — in a women's colony in Kharkiv, on the railway, at the Svitlo shakhtarya plant, and in recent years at the Faktor Druk printing house.

In September 2022, he joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine. He loyally and courageously carried out combat missions, defending the state from Russian aggression.

During his service, he visited many hot spots and was repeatedly awarded military decorations. The bright memory of Alexander Ivanovich will forever live in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing him personally, who shared with him the joy of peaceful days and the difficult trials of war. His sacrifice, courage and love for his native land became an example of true patriotism and strength of spirit.

May the Lord grant peace to his soul, and may his family and friends find the strength to endure this irreparable loss.
