He died near the settlement of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region.
Bright and eternal memory to the Hero.The commander of the 1st rifle squad of the 2nd rifle platoon of the 1st rifle company, junior sergeant Gerik Oleksandr, died on April 4, 2023 during evacuation after receiving serious injuries as a result of enemy shelling of the unit's positions near the settlement of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region.
On June 7, 2023, he would have turned 48 years old...
On April 9, he was taken on his last earthly journey in Zmiiv.
