Sergiy Hipik is forever 49…

Defending Ukraine, after a terrible battle in the struggle for the independence of the Motherland, G I P I K SERHIY VOLODYMYROVYCH, a native of the village of Bezpalivka, gave his life.

Serhiy was drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in November 2023.

The brave warrior's heart stopped on August 23 in the hospital after suffering a serious injury in the hellish battle for Pokrovsk.

We knew Serhiy as a cheerful, fun-loving man, a good friend, and now we will remember him as a hero who died a brave death in the terrible, cruel battles for Ukraine.

IN MEMORY OF SERGII HIPIK

On August 30, the village of Bezpalivka said goodbye to Serhiy Gipik, a defender of Ukraine, a sniper of the 2nd mechanized detachment, 2nd mechanized platoon, 5th mechanized company, 2nd mechanized battalion of the VC A4941. His heart stopped in one of the hospitals after being seriously wounded in the hellish battle for Pokrovske.

Serhiy was born on May 7, 1975 in the village of Bezpalivka. He studied at the Taranivska school, after which he immediately began his career. He worked as a builder.

In November 2023, Serhiy Hipik was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The deceased is survived by his wife, children, sister, brother, and nephews.

Serhiy was buried in his native village.
