Artem was born on January 14, 1993 in the village of Zidki. He studied at Zidkivska comprehensive school, after which he immediately went to work to be able to help his family.
In 2011, Artem was mobilized for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The guy got married in 2015. Together with his wife, they raised two sons.
In 2020, Artem decided to connect his life with military service. And he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract.
In 2022, the man began studying at the Yaroslav the Wise Kharkiv National Law University.
The full-scale invasion of the Russian army caught Artem at his place of service. From the first days of the war, he stood up for the defense of his country.
Courageous, purposeful and persistent. For him, there were no tasks that were impossible to complete. The brave Hero courageously defended the borders from the enemy. And above all, he wished for peace in Ukraine and a speedy return home to his relatives.
Senior Sergeant Artem Holub, a border guard inspector of the highest category (machine gunner) of the 1st Department of Border Guard Inspectors of the 3rd Border Post of the 1st Department of the Border Guard, was killed while performing a combat mission.
Artem is survived by his loving family: his wife, two young sons, and his parents.

On November 1, the village of Zidky said goodbye to the fallen defender of Ukraine, border guard Artem Holub.
ARTEM GOLUB AWARDED WITH THE ORDER "FOR COURAGE, 3RD DEGREE" (POSTOM)
The award was presented to the wife of the deceased Hero Artem, Anna, and his two sons, Matvey and Mikhail, by the Deputy Chief of the Kharkiv Border Guard Detachment, Dmitry Chervanov.
In turn, Zmiiv City Mayor Pavlo Golodnikov noted that employees of the city council and budget institutions held a charity event - to donate one day's salary to help the military. According to Pavlo Viktorovych, more than 300 thousand UAH were collected during the event, which will be directed to help the Kharkiv Border Guard Unit. Dmytro Chervanov assured that the aid will go to the unit where Artem served.
