Grigorenko Oleksandr Ivanovych 05/26/1987-11/10/2024

Junior Sergeant Hryhorenko Oleksandr, border guard inspector of the 2nd category - machine gunner of the second department of border guard inspectors of the second border post of the third department of the border guard service of the rapid response commandant's office of the 4th border guard detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously).

The corresponding award was awarded by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 88/2025 of February 20, 2025 for personal courage and selfless actions shown while protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

On October 31, Colonel Volodymyr Lazar presented the order to his family – his daughter Diana, his wife Alina and his mother Zinaida Mykolaivna. Oleksandr Hryhorenko is from the village of Ostroverkhivka. Here he was born, raised, started a family, and together with his wife raised a son and daughter. He worked at the SFG "ReViK".

In May 2024, Oleksandr defended his native country as part of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. On November 10, 2024, he died near the settlement of Topoli, Kupyanskyi district, Kharkiv region, while performing a combat mission.

He was only 37 years old...
