🕯 Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Gubin - a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war, who died on June 16, 2022 near Sumy.

Alexey Gubin was born in Taranivka.

He graduated from Taraniv School in 2010. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the KhNPU named after G. S. Skovoroda with a degree in Physics.

During his studies, he graduated from the military department of the Ivan Kozhedub KhNUPS with a degree in "Air Defense". After graduating from the military department, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served in military service in Odessa.

Participant of the ATO. During his service, he received 5 military awards. After the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he had many military missions.

Captain Oleksiy Gubin, Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of the 1601st Anti-Aircraft Missile Division of the 160th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade, died on June 16, 2022 in the combat control cabin of the SAM as a result of a missile strike from Russian territory while performing a task to protect Ukrainian airspace near the village of Tereshkivky in the Sumy region.

Buried on June 18, 2022 in his native Taranivka.

Awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree (posthumously) in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 460/2022 of June 30, 2022.
