Kiktenko Yevhen Ivanovich 12/05/1997 - 09/25/2022

🇺🇦🕯Gunner of the 3rd tank platoon, 2nd tank company, tank battalion, military unit A0501, soldier. Died near the settlement of Petropavlivka, Kupyansky district, Kharkiv region.

Soldier 🇺🇦 Yevhen Kiktenko🇺🇦, call sign Kiktos, died on September 25, 2022 near the village of Petropavlivka near Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. He received fatal injuries while performing a combat mission. The soldier was left with 24 years of life.

Yevhen was born in the city of Zmiiv, Kharkiv region. Together with his sister, they lost their parents at an early age, so throughout their lives they supported each other and had a strong relationship. He graduated from Zmiiv Lyceum No. 1, where he mastered the profession of a barista. He completed his military service and decided to stay in the army.

In 2020, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the ranks of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko. He held the position of tank gunner. He performed combat missions on the territory of the Joint Forces. And with the beginning of a full-scale war, together with his comrades, he defended his native Kharkiv region. He was twice blown up by mines while riding a tank, but he always said that he would return home only after victory.

"He was the best brother, friend, and comrade. The damned war took the most precious thing – the only brother. There is no greater pain in the heart than when heaven takes the dearest. Eternal memory. We will never forget."

The defender was buried at the central cemetery in his hometown.

At home, Yevhen was waiting for his sister and three nephews, whom he adored.
