On September 5, Zmiiv said goodbye to the fallen defender, Serhiy Komarov.
Sergey Vladimirovich Komarov, junior sergeant, assistant rifleman of the grenade launcher, 2nd airmobile detachment, 3rd airmobile platoon, 1st airmobile company of the airmobile battalion of the A0281 high-tech complex, died on September 4, 2024 near the settlement of Malaya Loknya, Sudzhansky district, Kursk region.
Serhiy was born on August 23, 1976 in the village of Donets (now Slobozhansk community). He studied at the Shebelynska school, after which he graduated from the Petrovsky Professional Agrarian Lyceum, acquiring the profession of a tractor driver.
He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and after demobilization he got a job at the Zmiiv Machine-Building Plant. He worked for OMEGA LLC for more than 15 years.
Above all, Serhiy loved his family. Together with his wife Tatyana, they raised a beautiful son, who is now also defending the country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Serhiy was kind and sensitive, sincere and open in communication, had many friends. Unfailing and incredibly positive, always ready to help. He was a caring son, a reliable brother, a loving husband and father. That is how he will remain in the memory of everyone who knew, respected and loved Serhiy.
And for each of us, he will remain a Hero who laid the most precious thing on the altar of Ukrainian Victory - his life! Eternal memory and respect to the warrior Sergiy!
Heroes don't die!
