πΊπ¦π― Senior sapper of the engineer-sapper platoon of the landing battalion, military unit A7788, senior soldier. Died near the settlement of Netailove, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.
42-year-old senior soldier Oleksandr Kukharchuk, alias "Panda", died on April 17, 2024 near the village of Netailove, Pokrovsky District. He received a fatal explosive injury while performing a combat mission.
Oleksandr was born in Donetsk. In 1999, he graduated with honors from the Donetsk Economic College, majoring in Accounting. He received his higher education at the Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade, where he later remained to work as a lecturer.
Later he became a private entrepreneur. Before the full-scale invasion, he worked as a CNC operator at the LG washing machine factory in Wroclaw, Poland. He was active in public life, was fond of football and tennis, and loved to travel.
With the outbreak of full-scale war, the man returned from abroad and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He first served in military unit A1451, then transferred to the 79th separate airborne assault regiment "Herts" (military unit A7788). He held the position of senior sapper of the engineer-sapper platoon of the airborne battalion.
For his service, the soldier was awarded the following decorations: "Iron Cross" and "Cross of the Airborne Assault Troops".
"Sasha was a decent person, with a sense of justice. Extremely caring in the family. He was concerned about the fate of strangers."
"A very progressive and caring person who always participated in all environmental talks, explained to children the topic of sorting, the importance of water, knew the price of natural resources, suggested ways to fight for environmental rights. He was 200% intolerant of corruption," said Olena Pankratova, the common-law wife of the deceased.
Oleksandr was buried on the Field of Mars of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.
The defender is survived by his beloved and her daughter.
