🕯🇺🇦Again, bad news, again, unspeakable pain... The war took another of our Heroes - Oleksiy Kukota, a resident of the village of Birki. An enemy drone cut short his life along with his brothers, leaving unbearable sadness in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who knew, waited for, and loved him.
Oleksiy was born on February 6, 1983 in Birki. Here he spent his childhood, here he studied, here he grew up and became a person who sincerely loved his Motherland, family, community. Always active, caring, he was a member of the public association "Birkivska Druzhina", worked as a foreman on the railway. But when the war came, he did not hesitate to defend it.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Oleksiy joined the Krasnograd Rifle Battalion of the TRO. He went through heavy battles, held the defense of the Kharkiv region, fought in Bakhmut, in the Kupyansk direction, and most recently, at the Vovchansk line.
Always courageous, brave, faithful to his oath...
During his service, he was repeatedly awarded decorations and received the status of a war veteran.
Junior Lieutenant Oleksiy Kukota, commander of the 1st Rifle Platoon, 3rd Rifle Company of the A7289 Military Academy, was killed on February 24, 2025 near the village of Yurchenkove in the Chuguiv Oblast.
Alexey was only 42. He was waiting at home... His parents were waiting, who would never hug their son again. His wife was waiting, who would never hear his voice again. His little son was waiting, who would now have to grow up without a father... How can I find the words to express this pain?..
The Zmiiv City Council, together with the entire community, bows its head in mourning with the relatives and friends of the deceased. The pain of loss is unbearable. But the memory of Oleksiy Kukota will live forever. He gave his life for Ukraine, for our future, for his native land.
Rest in peace, Protector...
Heroes don't die!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
