Labunsky Oleksandr Pavlovich 01.04.1973-23.08.2022

🇺🇦🕯Labunskyi Oleksandr Pavlovich was born in the village of Sokolove, Zmiiv district, Kharkiv region, on April 1, 1973.

Commander of the rifle section of the 2nd rifle platoon of the 1st rifle company.

He participated in the battles for the Kharkiv region.

On August 19, 2022, he received an explosive shrapnel wound incompatible with life. He died on August 23, 2022 in a hospital in the city of Kharkiv.

On August 30, 2022, he received the posthumous award "Blood for Ukraine".

Born and lived in the village of Sokolovo, Zmiivska community. In the 1990s, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, later worked as a gas station operator in Meref. From the first days of the full-scale war, he joined the ranks of the defenders. He held the front for 158 days, until he received severe shrapnel wounds near the village of Velyki Prokhody. On August 23, 2022, his heart stopped in a medical center. He was 49 years old.
