π― The Zmiiv City Council bows its head in sorrow before the bright memory of the warrior-defender from the Zidkivskyi starostyn district, Mykhailo LEVANDOVSKY.
Sergeant Mykhailo LEVANDOVSKY, a driver-medic of the medical post of the VC A7287, died in the battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence on October 6, 2024 as a result of an enemy FPV drone strike near the settlement of Zolota Niva, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.
Mykhailo was born on November 9, 1978 in the Khmelnytskyi region. When he was 2 years old, his family moved to a permanent place of residence in the Zmiiv region.
He studied at Zidkivska comprehensive school, after which he entered the Lipkovativ Agrarian College.
He completed his military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After demobilization, he worked at the "3rd Decisive" state farm. Then he continued his career in the repair team at the power plant, worked as a dredger operator at the Bezlyudiv quarry.
Mykhailo was a caring father and grandfather. He raised a daughter and a son. His daughter gave him three granddaughters, whom he loved above all else.
Mikhail always tried to protect his family and the people dearest to him from all adversity.
The man joined the ranks to defend the country from the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers - in February 2022. He had a war veteran's certificate. During his service, he enjoyed the respect of his fellow soldiers and remained faithful to his military oath until his last breath.
The Zmiiv City Council expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and relatives of Mikhail. This irreparable grief is difficult to endure, and we share the pain of a great loss with you. May Mikhail find eternal peace in the Kingdom of Heaven, and may his memory remain alive among us.
