🕯 A memorial plaque to the fallen military personnel will be installed in Pershotravneve

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the executive committee of the Zmiiv City Council on July 19.

In the village of Pershotravneve, Zmiivska community, a memorial plaque will be installed to the senior soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine, Olena Levitska, who died on September 8, 2022.

On July 19, during a meeting of the executive committee of the Zmiiv City Council, permission was granted for such actions.

As noted by Oleg Bidulin, head of the Department of Culture, Youth, Sports and Tourism, the city council received an application from the National Guard of Ukraine for permission to install a memorial plaque to the deceased sister on the house where she once lived. It will be manufactured and installed with extra-budgetary funds.

Olena Stepanivna Levitska was born and raised in the village of Pershotravneve. She is well remembered and respected in her small homeland.

For personal courage and dedication shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people, Olena Levytska was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously) by the decree of the President of Ukraine dated December 27, 2022.

As we were informed in the Birkivskyi Starostyn district, the installation of the memorial plaque is scheduled for August 2023.
