🕯IN MEMORY OF DMYTR LYTVYNOV

On September 17, Zmiiv said goodbye to the fallen Hero Dmytro Litvynov.

For almost a year, his name was on the missing persons list. But recently, the most terrible thing was confirmed. On October 31, 2024, junior sergeant, machine gunner Dmytro Litvinov was killed in battle near the settlement of Novoukrainka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.

Dmytro Litvinov was born on December 26, 1972 in the city of Zmiiv. He studied at Zmiiv Secondary School No. 1 and Zmiiv Professional Energy Lyceum. He completed his military service, participated in military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. He worked in the internal affairs bodies, as a senior foreman at the "Lift-Remont" enterprise in Kharkiv, and later in the State Penitentiary Service, from where he retired.

Dmytro was a man of high dignity, hard work and honor. A loving father, husband, son, brother. Together with his wife, he raised three children - two sons and a daughter. After retirement, he worked at Silpo-Food LLC, as well as a security guard at a grain warehouse in the city of Chernihiv.

In February 2024, Dmytro joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

His life is a story of courage.

His feat is part of our freedom.

In sorrow, we bow our heads and give thanks for everything.
