The Zmiiv City Council sadly announces the death of our fellow countryman, resident of the village of Levkivka, VITALIY PARASCHENKA.

Vitaliy was born on December 27, 1977 in the village of Levkivka. He studied at the Boriv school, after graduating he continued his studies at one of the technical schools in Kharkiv.

In 1997, Vitaliy was called up for military service. He served in a special unit in the city of Vinnytsia. He was demobilized in 1999 with the rank of sergeant, platoon commander.

A year after demobilization, Vitaliy started a family. In 2001, his daughter was born.

During the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, the man worked as a locksmith. In March 2023, he volunteered to defend the country as part of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sergeant Vitaliy Parashchenko, assistant rifleman of the 2nd mechanized platoon of the 9th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion, was killed on March 14, 2024 in the area of ​​the settlement of Berdychi, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.

The Zmiiv City Council expresses its sincere condolences to Vitaliy's family and friends.

On March 27, the Zmiiv community said goodbye to the fallen Hero Vitaliy Parashchenko. The farewell ceremony took place in the village of Levkivka, where Vitaliy was born and raised.

The man fought as part of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since March 2023.
