🕯 THE ZMIIV COMMUNITY IS IN MOURNING AGAIN. OUR COUNTRYMAN, DEFENDER, RESIDENT OF THE VILLAGE OF ZIDKY – DENIS PERSIANOV, DIED ON THE BATTLEFIELD.

Denys was born on February 1, 1980 in Kharkiv, where he graduated from school and entered the Kharkiv State University of Railway Transport. After his studies, he completed his military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In 2010, Denis started a family.

In 2013, Denis's family purchased a house in the village of Zidki, where he, his wife and two daughters are moving to for permanent residence.

In July 2024, Denis stood up for the defense of his country, remaining faithful to his military oath until his last breath.

The Zmiiv City Council expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased Hero.

Junior Sergeant Denis Persianov, driver of the 2nd detachment, 2nd mortar platoon, 3rd mortar battery, 2nd mechanized battalion VC A 4699, died while performing a combat mission on October 16, 2024 in the Kursk region.

Since 2013, Denis, together with his wife and two daughters, moved to a permanent place of residence from Kharkiv to the village of Zidki. Everyone who knew Denis remembers him as a decent, polite and hardworking man who was a caring family man.

In July 2024, the man was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He courageously carried out the combat missions assigned to him, remaining faithful to his military oath until his last breath.

On his last earthly journey, together with his family, Denis was accompanied by Zmiiv City Mayor Pavlo Golodnikov, the head of the Zidkivskyi starostyn district Inna Sumtsova, and fellow villagers.

The Hero was buried in the local cemetery in the village of Zidki.

Eternal and bright memory to the warrior-defender Denis Persianov and to all who gave their lives for Ukraine.
