Roman Kalyuzhny 2001 - 08/11/2025

🇺🇦🕯️ In the battle in the Kharkiv direction, a 24-year-old soldier from the village of Birky, Zmiiv community, Roman Kalyuzhny, died. On August 11, 2025, in a battle with Russian occupiers near the village of Kopanky, Izyum district, Kharkiv region, our compatriot - soldier Roman Kalyuzhny, a resident of the village of Birky, a rifleman of the 3rd assault specialized detachment of military unit A4638, died. Roman was born in Birky. Here he grew up, studied, and made plans for life. After school, he became a welder. A quiet, sincere, kind guy who never passed by someone else's trouble.

In February of this year, he signed a contract and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was not an obligation, but a conscious decision to go and defend his native land. He could have lived an ordinary life, but he chose the path of a warrior and a patriot.

Roman was only 24. He could have loved, worked, raised children. But instead, he gave the most precious thing — his life — so that we could live.
