🕯 The Zmiiv City Council sadly announces another irreparable loss suffered by our community.
On March 7, 2023, near the settlement of Verkhnyokamyanske in the Donetsk region, while performing a combat mission to defend Ukraine, our compatriot, soldier Oleksiy Sinyayev, a service number of the machine-gun section of the machine-gun platoon of the mechanized battalion, died. He remained a hero forever for 30 years.
Alexey was born and raised in the village of Virishly. After graduating from school, he became a welder. He was a hardworking, sincere, responsible, and loving son, brother, husband, and father.
When Russia launched a full-scale invasion, on March 4, 2022, Oleksiy was one of the first volunteers to defend Ukraine.
For a year, he courageously held the defense, together with his brothers, holding back the enemy in eastern Ukraine.
On March 7, 2023, his life was cut short in the fight for the freedom of our state.
The bright memory of Alexei will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends, brothers and sisters, and everyone who knew him.
Alexey Sinyaev is buried in his native village, on the land that he defended until his last breath.
