Andriy was born in the village of Lyman, Kharkiv region. He graduated from Lyman Lyceum. Later he settled in the village of Chemuzhivka, his native region. He worked as a farm manager at Chemuzhiv Lyceum. He had many hobbies: he was a beekeeper, loved working with wood, and was fond of hunting and fishing.

In 2019, he entered military service under a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodny Yar". He was a driver-mechanic. After the full-scale invasion, he held the defense in Dergachy and Izyum in the Kharkiv region, and then went to defend Bakhmut and Soledar in the Donetsk region. He was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Soledar".

"His life was hanging in the balance many times, he suffered several concussions, he carried wounded comrades on his own shoulders. He was a kind, sincere person, respected by everyone who knew him. A loving father and grandfather. He was not afraid to go against influential people, he was like a father to his comrades, they took his actions as an example," said the deceased's daughter Karina.

The defender was buried in the village of Chemuzhivka in the Kharkiv region.

Andriy is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, and five grandchildren.

HONOR AND MEMORY. ANDRIY STADNIK WAS BURIED IN CHEMUZHIVKA

On November 10, the village of Chemuzhivka said goodbye to the fallen hero, Andriy Stadnik. The man had been defending Ukraine from armed Russian aggression since 2019. During the war, he visited many hot spots, had several concussions, but never hid behind the backs of his comrades. His war ended on November 7 near the settlement of Soledar, Donetsk region, where he died from injuries incompatible with life. 45-year-old junior sergeant Andriy Stadnik is survived by his wife and four children.
