🕯 AGAIN SAD NEWS HAS COME TO THE ZMIIV COMMUNITY. OUR COMPANION, RESIDENT OF THE VILLAGE OF ZIDKY, RUSLAN TYMCHENKO, DIED DEFENDING UKRAINE

Soldier Ruslan Tymchenko, a rifleman-medic of the 3rd detachment, 2nd patrol platoon, 2nd patrol company of the rifle battalion VC 3051 of the National Guard of Ukraine, died on September 12, 2024 as a result of artillery fire while performing a combat mission near the settlement of New York, Donetsk region.

Hero forever 31...

Ruslan was born on June 27, 1993 in the village of Zidki. He studied at Zidkivska comprehensive school. After that, he graduated from the Kharkiv Vocational Lyceum of Construction and Motor Transport. Then he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After demobilization, he worked for some time at the Zmiivska Paper Factory. Then, he worked in the Department of Security Police in the Kharkiv region.

Since 2024, he has been defending the country as part of the National Guard of Ukraine.

During his life, Ruslan was a caring son, a reliable brother, and an incredibly loving godfather. Unfortunately, he did not have time to start his own family.

The Zmiiv City Council, together with the entire community, bows its heads low before the bright memory of the warrior-defender Ruslan Tymchenko.

We express our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. We share with you the pain of this irreparable loss.

The farewell ceremony for Ruslan Tymchenko will take place on September 20 at 12:00 near the Zidkivskyi Starostat building.

Private Ruslan Tymchenko, a rifleman-medic of the 3rd detachment, 2nd patrol platoon, 2nd patrol company of the rifle battalion VC 3051 of the National Guard of Ukraine, died while performing a combat mission on September 12, 2024 as a result of enemy artillery fire near the settlement of New York, Donetsk region.

Ruslan was born and raised in the village of Zidki. He graduated from a local school, after which he continued his studies at the Kharkiv Vocational Lyceum of Construction and Motor Transport.

After graduation, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked at the Zmiiv paper factory, then in the security police department.

Since 2024, he has been defending the country as part of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The Hero is survived by his parents and sister.

Representatives of the authorities, his comrades-in-arms, classmates, friends, and fellow villagers came to say goodbye to Ruslan Timchenko. Everyone who knew, respected, and loved him.

The soldier was buried in the local cemetery.
