The Alley was opened on September 12. It commemorates 18 fallen soldiers-defenders who lived in the territory of the Zidkivskyi Starostyn district.
The opening was attended by representatives of local authorities, deputies of the Zmiiv City Council, relatives of the deceased, and fellow villagers.
"We must do everything possible to ensure that the names and faces of the fallen Heroes remain in our memory forever. Their exploits will educate future generations, who must know what our Freedom and Independence are worth," Zmiiv City Mayor Pavlo Golodnikov noted in his speech.
Let us remind you that the Walk of Fame was established with funds from the local budget.
Such Alleys of Glory will be arranged in each starosta district of the Zmiiv community.
