THE ALLEY OF HEROES WAS OPENED IN TARANIVKA

On July 12, the Alley of Fallen Heroes was opened in the village of Taranivka. It was installed near the memorial site for those who died during World War II - in the central part of the village.

The Alley immortalized 20 defenders who lived in the settlements of the Taraniv-Velykohomilshansky Starostynsky District and gave their lives during the Russian-Ukrainian War.

The opening of the Heroes' Alley took place with the participation of Zmiiv City Mayor Pavlo Golodnikov, the deputies of the city council, relatives of the fallen defenders, and local residents.

"Remembering the Heroes and being worthy of them is the duty of each of us. This is the least we can do to thank the fallen defenders. After all, Heroes are alive as long as the memory of them lives," Pavlo Golodnikov noted.

The fallen Heroes were honored with a minute of silence and fresh flowers were laid at the foot of the memorial plaques.

We would like to remind you that the Alley of Heroes in the village of Taranivka was established with funds from the local budget. Later, Alleys of Memory will be established in each starosta district of the community.

In the village of Birki, the Alley of Heroes was established last year at the expense of the relatives of the deceased. They will be compensated for these expenses from the local budget. Eternal memory to the deceased! Glory to the Heroes!
