With a heavy heart, we announce an irreparable loss for our community - our fellow countryman, warrior, son of Zmiiv region - Valentyn YEREOMIN, a 29-year-old resident of the village of Veleten, died in the battle for Ukraine.

Valentyn was born on December 18, 1995. He studied at the Veletenskaya school, received his education at the motor transport college, which he graduated with honors. Later, he received two higher educations at the Kharkiv Polytechnic University - in the fields of automotive industry and accounting and taxation. He was a true professional, worked as a teacher at the company "Master Service", where he shared his knowledge with young people.

Valentin had many hobbies - sports, in particular boxing, but the greatest wealth in his life were his friends, loyal and sincere, with whom he had traveled the path since childhood. But above all - his mother was always in his heart. A woman of indomitable strength who raised the Hero.

In August 2024, Valentyn made a choice that only the strongest can make – he stood up for Ukraine. Private Valentyn Yeryomin, an operator of the information collection and processing group of the electronic intelligence platoon, fought for our security, for our future.

On July 17, 2025, while performing a combat mission in the area of ​​the settlement of Vovchanski Khutory, Kharkiv region, Valentyn died…

He died protecting each of us.

The Zmiiv City Council expresses its sincere and deep condolences to the family, friends, and fellow citizens of Valentyn. We bow our heads in sorrow and gratitude.

May his memory forever remain in the hearts of all who knew, loved, and respected him.

On July 25, the last respects were paid to the Defender of Ukraine, Hero Valentyn Yeryomin, in his native village of Veleten. He was only 29… Soldier Valentyn Yeryomin, an operator of the information collection and processing group of the radio-electronic reconnaissance platoon, died on July 17, 2025 while performing a combat mission in the area of ​​Vovchansky Khutor in the Kharkiv region.

Many people came to see the Hero off on his last journey. Among them were government officials, comrades-in-arms, friends, and fellow villagers. During his life, Valentyn was an example of true dedication and professionalism. He was born on December 18, 1995, studied at the Veletenskaya School, and graduated from the Motor Transport College with honors. He received two higher educations at NTU "KhPI" - in the field of automotive engineering and accounting and taxation. He worked as a teacher at the company "Master Service", shared his knowledge with young people, and inspired them to develop.

In August 2024, Valentyn stood up for the defense of Ukraine. By decree of the President of Ukraine, he was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Ukraine." Unfortunately, he never managed to receive the award during his lifetime - it was presented to his mother by his brothers. Bright memory, eternal respect and a low bow.

Heroes do not die - they live in our hearts and our grateful memory.
