🎣 REST, SUPPORT AND UNITY: VETERANS OF THE ZMIYIV COMMUNITY ON FISHING On August 28, war veterans of the Zmiyiv community, together with their families, had the opportunity to enjoy fishing, communication and relaxation on the picturesque reservoir "Kamplytsia". The event, which combined nature, friendly communication and the opportunity to restore internal balance, was organized by the Zmiyiv City Council together with the Department for Veterans and War Participants of the Department of Social Protection of the Population and the Department of Culture, Youth, Sports and Tourism. The event program included fishing, board games, live communication and a joint dinner. A psychologist and a specialist in supporting veterans worked alongside the participants. Animators worked with the children. The teams that were distinguished by the largest catch received prizes from the organizers of the event, as well as the sponsor – VPW CARP/ NGO “VETERANS, WAR PARTICIPANTS AND COMMUNITIES OF ACTIVE PATRIOTS” and TM REAL FISH ( https://www.realfish.ua/ ). Similar events are planned to be made traditional in the community, as they create a space for communication, support and restoration of strength. 🤝 We thanked all the veterans for their feat and active participation in the event, as well as partners for their support and assistance in holding this important day.
